September Seedlings Children’s Program

Admission is FREE. However, we follow a pre-registration process for participants. Hosted by L Coykendall and A Torres.
Enroll your kids, ages between 6 and 10, in our Seedlings class. Covering all Tuesdays of this month, Seedlings strives for a deeper level of plant science education. We would love these kids to learn that planting is both science and art.

Conservatory Collection Highlights Tour

Admission is FREE. No pre-registration necessary for participants. Hosted by a USBG Volunteer.
If you fancy a tour to either a paradise or a jungle, or perhaps some flashbacks to early explorations days, then our witty tour guide will give you what you hope to see, and more!
Connect the extrinsic plant world to everyday life. See plants on their maturity, and also see those types used for medicinal research.

Chrysanthemum: Queen of Fall Flowers Art Workshop

Cultivated chrysanthemums, classified as the easiest perennial to grow, have been around since the 15th century. This workshop aims to portray their colors, shapes and sizes into fine pieces of art.
Participants will need some intermediate skills, but will be taught modern techniques in botanical illustration. Please pack a lunch.
